The College of Medicine Council at the University of Fallujah held its third meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The College of Medicine Council at the University of Fallujah held its third meeting for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafe' Alawi Fayyad, Dean of the College, and attended by a majority of the council members.
The Dean opened the meeting with a welcoming address, then reviewed the agenda, which included several important topics, most notably:
• Discussing the college's readiness to submit its accreditation application to the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges and following up on the completion of all requirements and standards for academic accreditation.
• Forming scientific committees in the basic and clinical departments to enhance academic and research cooperation and organize scientific activities.
• Encouraging scientific publication in reputable journals and participation in local and international conferences through joint research teams that combine the basic and clinical departments.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean commended the efforts of the council members and faculty in developing the college's academic and research performance, emphasizing the importance of continuing to work as a unified team to achieve excellence and academic accreditation.
