Department of Pediatrics Overview
The Department of Pediatrics was established in May 2016 as a specialized branch dedicated to child healthcare, covering physical, mental, and developmental health, including disease treatment, disability management, and preventive care.
Teaching Strategy:
- Integrated Curriculum: Taught across 4th, 5th, and 6th years Combined with other clinical specialties for systematic learning
- Interactive Learning: Student-centered approach (small groups, problem-solving) Self-directed learning (assignments, research participation) Continuous & final assessments
- Faculty: Currently includes two lecturers, with plans for expansion.
