Under the patronage and in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Rafe Alawi Fayyad, the College of Medicine held research discussion sessions for sixth-year students, supervised and monitored by the scientific departments, as part of the requirements for completing studies for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The sessions, organized by the Departments of Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics, witnessed discussions of the scientific research submitted by the students. Scientific committees and faculty members were present, and the research was evaluated according to established scientific and academic standards. Feedback and guidance were provided to contribute to developing the students' skills in the field of scientific research.
These sessions reflect the College of Medicine's commitment to fostering a culture of scientific research among students and developing their abilities to prepare rigorous medical studies, in line with academic quality requirements and qualifying them to practice their profession with high competence.
