On the occasion of National Tree Planting Day, the College of Medicine at the University of Fallujah participated in the "Tree Planting: A Step Towards a Sustainable University" campaign launched by the university administration on the university campus.
The college deanship emphasized the importance of active participation in these environmental initiatives, which contribute to raising environmental awareness among students and staff, and align with the university's commitment to supporting environmental sustainability.
The college also commended the efforts of the university administration, the Administrative Affairs Department, and the Fallujah Environment Department in organizing this campaign, which aims to increase green spaces within the university campus.
A number of faculty members, staff, and students from the College of Medicine participated in the campaign activities by planting trees within the university campus, reflecting the college's sense of social responsibility and its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to improving the university environment.
The campaign also included awareness activities about the importance of tree planting and its role in mitigating climate change, improving air quality, and promoting public health.
