The Curriculum Update Committee at the College of Medicine at the University of Fallujah held its fifth meeting on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the College Council Hall. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafi Alawi Fayyad, Dean of the College, and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, Scientific Assistant, heads of academic departments, and a representative of the College's students.
The meeting discussed ways to update the curricula to align with modern scientific developments and academic quality standards, and to meet the needs of society and the labor market in the health sector. The meeting also included the presentation of several visions and development proposals from various members, emphasizing the importance of integrating theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the need to continue communicating with relevant authorities and taking into account the comments of students and professionals when developing curricula to ensure the graduation of qualified medical personnel capable of keeping pace with modern medical challenges.
