🔹 Foot Drop
Is a medical condition characterized by difficulty raising the forefoot while walking, causing a distinctive limp, sometimes known as a "dangling gait."
🔹 It occurs as a result of an injury to the nerve or muscles responsible for raising the foot.
🔹 Its most prominent causes include: peroneal nerve injury, a herniated disc, or certain neurological diseases.
🔹 Early diagnosis, physical therapy, and assistive devices can improve gait and reduce complications.
The lecture was attended by a number of department heads at the College and a select group of faculty and researchers from various departments.
