The College of Medicine Council at the University of Fallujah held its fifth session (the second and final part) on Monday, February 2, 2026, in the College Council Hall. The session was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafi Alawi Fayyad, and attended by a majority of the council members.
This session was held as part of the council's commitment to overseeing academic and administrative affairs. The agenda included approving the results of the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for all academic levels, with the exception of the first and sixth years. The council also discussed several other agenda items and made the necessary decisions to enhance the academic and organizational progress of the college.
In a gesture of appreciation and gratitude, the Dean and members of the College Council commended the dedicated efforts of the former Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Lecturer Yousef Zaben Khudair, on the occasion of the completion of his term. They praised his outstanding contributions and effective service during his tenure, wishing him continued success in his academic and professional career.
The College Council also welcomed the new Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Sufian Wadi Hanchal, expressing confidence in his abilities and wishing him success in his new role, which will contribute to the development of administrative work and the consolidation of sound institutional performance principles at the College of Medicine, University of Fallujah.
