Branch of Anatomy, Histology, and Embryology
Department of Human Anatomy
The Department of Human Anatomy is one of the fundamental departments in medical colleges, playing a crucial role in building a strong medical foundation for students.
Department Mission
To enhance the scientific and research capabilities of medical students, enabling them to:
✔ Identify pathological cells and distinguish them from normal cells in various body systems.
✔ Accurately diagnose diseases based on tissue and cellular structures.
✔ Conduct medical research with essential laboratory skills.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
🔹 Correctly diagnose certain diseases through histological analysis.
🔹 Describe tissue layers and their types.
🔹 Perform microscopic examinations of normal and pathological tissues.
🔹 Distinguish malignant diseases from benign ones.
🔹 Acquire basic research skills for medical studies.
Teaching & Learning Methods
The course combines theoretical and practical approaches, including:
📖 Lectures & Seminars
🔬 Microscopic Slide Reading (Histology & Pathology)
💻 E-learning platforms & Smartboards
