Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Rafe Alawi Fayyad, the College of Medicine at Fallujah University, in cooperation with the Community Policing Department in Anbar Governorate, held an awareness seminar entitled "Negative Phenomena" in the college's main hall.
The seminar was presented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Sufyan Wadi Hanchal, with the participation of Brigadier General Raed Abdullah Mohammed and Major Aseel Abdul Wahab Salim.
The seminar addressed the most prominent negative phenomena affecting youth and students, including drugs and psychotropic substances, cyber extortion, suicide, harassment, and intellectual extremism, in addition to sorcery and witchcraft, highlighting their negative effects on the individual and society, particularly within the university environment.
This initiative is part of the College of Medicine's efforts to enhance community awareness and instill positive values within the educational environment, contributing to the protection of students from behavioral and intellectual risks and creating a safe and healthy university environment.
