Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafe Alawi Fayyad,
As part of the ongoing activities at the College of Medicine, Department of Physiology, Medical Physics, and Allied Sciences,
a student awareness event was held in the college gardens, attended by a number of faculty members and students.
The event was supervised by:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassim Nawfal (Head of the Scientific Committee)
• Assistant Professor Dr. Hind Abd Hanoun
• Lecturer Hanin Emad Kadhim
The event included awareness lectures on the cardiovascular system, heart health, blood pressure testing, its causes, and methods of prevention, in addition to a discussion of the latest scientific developments in its diagnosis and treatment.
The students presented a collection of brochures, models, and educational materials reflecting their efforts to spread health awareness among members of the community, along with a presentation on the importance of a healthy lifestyle for heart health.
The event concluded with the college dean thanking the participating students, while emphasizing the college's commitment to continuing to hold activities that contribute to promoting health awareness among students and the local community.
