The Continuing Education Unit was established under the decision of His Excellency the Dean of the College, No. 91611/27/D, dated 28/8/1427H (October 21, 2006). Previously known as the Medical Education Unit, its name was changed to the Continuing Education Unit following the creation of the Medical Education Department.
The unit is tasked with providing technical assistance and support for all scientific and academic activities at the College of Medicine and the University Hospital.
