See the branch The department is responsible for preparing doctors competent in diagnosing and treating pathogens caused by microorganisms and modern disorders and training experts and researchers in isolating, diagnosing and detecting mutations in general for germs, filters, parasites and fungi using modern methods that resist global scientific development and finding solutions to these causes using used medications. the message Promoting integrated education with other basic and clinical fields in microbiology, and secondly, developing culture against modern and immunological diseases and assigning specialization and joint research with other members inside and outside the college and in modern ways to keep pace with scientific progress to meet the needs of society and to improve human health.​​​​​​​Objectives 1. Preparing and training College of Medicine students in order to keep pace with the increasing number of students and the continuous development of the branch. Preparing and training Iraqi Board students in diseases/microbiology and clinical immunology, and teaching Iraqi and Arab Board students in other specializations (eyes, dermatology, joints). 3. Review and develop curricula that meet the needs and expectations of society and make them relevant and adaptable to changing needs in the field of microbiology and immunology. 4. Initiating, promoting and developing innovative, high-quality research protocols in microbiology and immunology. 5Strengthening cooperation with other higher education departments in evaluation and supervision inside and outside the college.

Deputy Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs The Deputy Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs exercises the following authorities to facilitate the work of the departments and units under his supervision: Organizing final exam schedules in coordination with scientific branches. Organizing weekly class schedules in coordination with scientific branches, ensuring proper classroom allocation for smooth graduate studies. Supervising weekly lecture records to ensure coverage of all required hours per subject, in accordance with applicable regulations. Monitoring graduate students' attendance and discipline in compliance with university policies. Reviewing graduate admission applications after submission by scientific branches, consolidating them, and forwarding them to the university presidency. Reviewing transfer requests of graduate students from other universities to the college and referring them to the relevant scientific branches for evaluation. Tracking graduate students' progress, study durations, and full-time commitment per regulations. Participating in graduate studies committee meetings when invited to discuss relevant academic matters. Preparing discussion schedules for graduate students one week before their defense and organizing discussion committee minutes. Supervising the preparation of annual statistics related to graduate studies in the college. Distributing and collecting exam booklets per established rules. Announcing exam results after approval by the graduate studies committees in scientific branches. Providing scientific departments with grades for approval by graduate studies committees. Coordinating with scientific branches regarding exam question submissions for first and second attempts, following undergraduate procedures. The vision, mission and goals of the Human Anatomy Branch in the College of Medicine View the branch of human anatomy:Since university education is the repository of knowledge and development, it is the main tool for transferring cultural and scientific experience between human societies. Colleges today, especially medical colleges, are considered future centers for research and knowledge innovation, enabling them to solve some health problems in society. Moreover, they are the factory of intellectual leaders and heads of institutions, and it is considered a branch of Human anatomy is one of the most important basic branches in the College of Medicine, which seeks to prepare scientific doctors with deep scientific experience to serve the field of science, in addition to providing the medical community with a specialty that is of fundamental importance to the College of Medicine student. The Anatomy Branch is also interested in using the laboratory to develop students’ scientific capabilities through studying the anatomy of the human body.Human Anatomy Branch MessageStriving to achieve the highest levels of scientific and practical benefit for our students, students of the College of Medicine, through practical applied academic curricula that lead them to full knowledge of the specialty of human anatomy and knowledge of clinical human anatomy. And providing the best scientific research to the academic community by raising the level of research in the field of specialization and by providing this developing and renewed specialty with more knowledge And progress.Objectives of the Human Anatomy Branch:1- Preparing competent doctors who possess the necessary applied skills in practicing clinical work The specialist.2- Describe the structural components of different areas of the human body.3- Describe the basic anatomical structures of the various organs and systems of the body.4 - The ability to distinguish the distinctive surface anatomical signs of the structures located under the skin from Bones, muscles, ligaments, and the internal structures of major blood vessels and internal organs.5- The ability to know the different branches of the nerves, the different blood vessels, and the organs that Nourish it.6- The ability to restore various muscle functions in the human body.7 - Knowing the different movements of the joints and the muscles responsible for those movements.8 - The ability to know the major clinical applications of these anatomical structures

Graduate Affairs

Graduation Requirements To obtain a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B.), the student must fulfill the following academic conditions: Successful completion of six academic years within the maximum allowed study period. Completion of a research project. The final year consists of clinical training in four major departments, including: Final written exams OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) Oral exams Post-Graduation Documentation Requirements 1. For Graduates Employed in Government Institutions 10+ years of service: Must submit an official letter from their workplace addressed to the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, confirming their employment and service duration. 2. For Retired Graduates Must provide an official letter from the General Retirement Directorate addressed to the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. 3. For Graduates Not Fulfilling Service Requirements Must obtain a "No Objection" letter from the Ministry of Health to receive their documents. Required Documents For Degree Certification: 12 passport-sized photos Copies of: Civil ID Residence card Iraqi nationality certificate or unified national ID Copy of passport For Graduation Plaques (Wall Certificates): Colored copy of passport Employment status confirmation (for employed graduates) OR "No Objection" letter from the Ministry of Health (for non-employed graduates) Retirement ID (for retired graduates) Contact Information Mobile (Viber/Telegram) for inquiries: +964 780 179 1667 Graduates must fill out a dedicated form available at the Documentation Unit (Registration Division).
