About Physiology, Medical Physics and Supportive Sciences Department Physiology and Medical Physics Department was established at the beginning of the college in 2013.The Department has the task of teaching human physiology to students of the second phase of the Faculty of Medicine Fallujah as a basic subject in the study of medicine.The Department contributes to the development of students' mental skills through various methods of academic and practical modern education.Also provide students with the basics of different clinical examination, and how to apply this information in working life.In addition to teaching physiology, the Department teaches medical physics for the first stage, both in terms of physics of the human body and those related to the physics of medical devices.Physiology and Medical Physics includes other supporting sciences: medical terminology, democracy and human rights, computer, English and Arabic.Physiology and Medical Physics Department includes scientific laboratories which are: Physiology Lab, Medical Physics Lab and Computer Lab.GoalsThe Physiology, Medical Physics and supporting Sciences Department aims to prepare distinguished physicians in their fields of specialization and able to raise the level of medical performance in the health fields to a level comparable to that of medical schools.After completing two semesters in the branch, the student should be able to:1. Determine the functions of different body systems.2. Describe the mechanism of action of different body systems and the sequence of physiological events associated with them.3. Estimate the natural values of biological activities in relation to different biological conditions.4. Distinguish between normal and abnormal functions of different body systems.5. Clarify the amount of change in the normal functions of different body organs and associated with some pathological conditions.6. Expand knowledge through periodicals, medical books, the Internet and discussion seminars.7.
